Terms of Service
These are the terms for using the Aluciano Home Services website. They cover how the site works, how a service visit is priced, and what the site does and does not promise. They are not the agreement for any repair, which is made when you schedule and receive service.

Using this site
1. Acceptance of these terms
By visiting or using this website, you agree to the terms on this page. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
These terms apply to the website itself, meaning the pages you are reading right now. They do not, by themselves, create a contract for any heating, cooling, plumbing, or electrical work. That agreement is separate, and how it comes together is explained below.
2. This website is informational
This website explains the trades we work in, the towns we serve, and how a service visit works. Nothing on it is an offer to perform work at a stated price, and simply browsing the site does not create an agreement between you and Aluciano Home Services.
The actual agreement for any job is made when you call to schedule a visit, and again when a technician is at your home and you approve the work. What gets fixed, what it costs, and when it happens are decided at that point, not by anything printed on this site.
This website also does not collect information about you. There is no form to fill out, no email signup, no account to create, and no login anywhere on the site. It does not run analytics or advertising tracking, and it does not set cookies. The only information you give us is what you choose to tell us on the phone when you call (708) 271-3667.
Pricing and scheduling
3. The $125 service charge
There is a $125 service charge for a technician to come to your home. That charge pays for the trip and the diagnosis, meaning the time it takes to find out what is actually wrong. It is a separate charge and is not credited toward the cost of the repair.
Once the technician has diagnosed the problem, you will be given a price for the repair. No repair work begins until you approve that price. If you decide not to move forward with the repair, the service charge still applies, because it covers the trip and the diagnosis, not the fix itself.
4. Scheduling and arrival windows
When you call, we will give you an arrival window for your visit. That window is an estimate. It can be affected by weather, by emergency calls ahead of yours, and by the season, since heating calls stack up in the coldest weeks of winter and cooling calls stack up in the hottest weeks of summer.
We will tell you what we honestly expect and let you know if something changes while you are waiting. We do not guarantee a specific arrival time, because doing so would mean promising something that is not fully in our control.
5. Access to your property
You are responsible for giving the technician safe access to the equipment and the area where the work will happen. This includes unlocking gates, securing pets, and clearing a path to the furnace, panel, water heater, or other equipment involved.
Please tell us about anything we should know before we arrive, such as a hazard in the work area, an animal that may react to a stranger, or a part of the property that is hard to reach. If a technician cannot safely reach the equipment, the visit may need to be rescheduled.
6. Estimates and conditions found during the work
Any price we give you is based on what the technician can see and reach at the time of the visit. Some conditions are not visible until a wall is opened, a panel cover is removed, or a floor is pulled up.
If we find something behind a wall, under a floor, or inside a system that changes the scope of the job, the work stops and you get a new price before anything else happens. You decide whether to move forward with the new number. The bill does not change without that conversation happening first.
Payment and warranties
7. Payment
Payment for completed work is due on completion. This website does not describe a specific payment method, a late fee, or a financing plan. If you have a question about how to pay for a visit or a repair, ask when you call to schedule the work, or ask the technician while they are at your home.
8. Equipment and workmanship
Any warranty on equipment we install, such as a furnace, air conditioner, or water heater, comes from the manufacturer of that equipment. How long it lasts and what it covers are set by the manufacturer, not by this website.
Any warranty we offer on our own labor, meaning the work itself, is stated to you at the time the work is done. This website does not state a workmanship warranty period, and nothing on this page should be read as promising one. If you have a question about a warranty on work that has been completed, ask the technician or call us.
Website terms
9. Site content is general information
The descriptions of heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical problems on this website are general information about common issues in those trades. They are not a diagnosis of your specific system, and they are not a substitute for having a technician look at your home. What a page on this site says about a typical cause of a problem may not match what is actually wrong at your house.
10. Intellectual property
The text, images, and design of this website belong to Aluciano Home Services or are used with permission. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, or otherwise reuse this content for a commercial purpose without our permission.
11. Acceptable use
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You will not try to interfere with how the site runs, try to gain unauthorized access to it or to any system connected to it, or use it to send or introduce anything harmful, such as a virus or malicious code.
12. No warranty on the website
This website is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not promise that the site will be available at all times, free of errors, or free of anything harmful. THIS WEBSITE IS PROVIDED WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALUCIANO HOME SERVICES IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THIS WEBSITE. This section applies to the website only. It does not limit any right you may have under the separate agreement made when service work is scheduled and performed at your home.
Safety, law, and updates
14. Emergencies
If you smell gas, see fire, have flooding that could reach electrical equipment, or see a hazard involving exposed or live electrical wiring, leave the area if you need to, and contact your utility company or 911 first. Call us after the immediate danger has been handled.
15. Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute related to this website will be handled in the state courts of Illinois.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time as the website or our services change. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
17. Contact us
Questions about these terms, or about scheduling a visit, go to the same place. Call (708) 271-3667 and talk to a person, not a form.
